Duplicate service agreements

Overview

The Duplicate Agreement feature allows you to create a new service agreement by cloning the existing one. This saves time to create similar agreements by minimizing manual re-entries and errors, and streamlines workflows by duplicating agreement details into a new draft.

Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, accountants, estimators, project managers, and operations managers

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement  and Commercial Construction business types

  • Applies to all trades

Things to know

  • You can duplicate service agreements only within a single customer.

  • Duplicating an agreement creates a new agreement in Draft status, regardless of the status of the original agreement.

    Coming ST-79: If your company is using ServiceTitan CRM (ST CRM) and the original agreement has a linked opportunity, the duplicated agreement carries over the same opportunity link.

    Note: ServiceTitan CRM is currently in Early Access and is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, reach out to your customer success manager (CSM) for details.

Duplicate agreements from the Service Agreement Proposal Builder screen

  1. On the Create a service agreement step 7: Preview and Send screen, click Duplicate AgreementCreate a service agreement step 7: Preview and Send

  2. On the Duplicate Agreement pop-up that opens:        

    1. Enter the Agreement Name.

    2. Select a Service Agreement Template.

    3. Select a Business Unit.

  3. When finished, click DuplicatePreviewing and duplicating agreement

The duplicated agreement is created in the Draft status.

Duplicate agreements from the Service Agreement Dashboard

  1. Open the activated service agreement.

  2. From the Dashboard, click More A simple icon in the shape of three dots, lined up vertically., and then select Duplicate AgreementDashboard view of service agreement

  3. On the Duplicate Agreement pop-up that opens:        

    1. Enter the Agreement Name.

    2. Select a Service Agreement Template.

    3. Select a Business Unit.

  4. When finished, click Duplicate.

The duplicated agreement is created in Draft status.
