Problem
Technicians can’t add notes in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. The Add note action is missing.
Solution
Note: This solution updates a technician permission. If you don’t have access to change permissions, contact your account administrator.
Open the desktop version of ServiceTitan from the office.
Go to Settings > People > Technicians.
Click Edit next to the technician having the issue.
Click the Permissions tab.
In the search field, enter Notes.
Select the Set notes on customer, location, or job permission to enable it.
Click Save Changes.
Ask the technician to refresh the Field Mobile App.
Make sure the technician sees the Add note action at the bottom of the screen.
