Why doesn't the tax appear on a Purchase Order when it's exported as a PDF in ServiceTitan?

Problem

When exporting a PO as a PDF in ServiceTitan, the tax does not show, even though all items are marked as taxable.

Solution

Send the PO to your vendor, ignore the missing tax on the PDF, wait for the bill with tax and shipping costs, and then input the details in ServiceTitan.

Display tax and shipping on the PO PDF

1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings .

2. In the side panel, go to Purchasing > Configuration.

3. In the Purchase Orders section, turn on the Display Taxes and Shipping on Purchase Orders option.

4. When finished, click Save.

After enabling the setting, generated PO PDFs will include Taxes, Shipping, Subtotal, and Total when printed or emailed.
