View settled batches and Chargeback or Retrieval reports in TransLink

Overview

If you use TSYS for processing payments, you can view settled batches and Chargeback/Retrieval reports in TransLink. Reviewing these reports can help you perform financial reconciliation tasks, review chargebacks, gather data for disputes, and more.

When viewing held funds from settled batches:

  • You can view the amount in the Hold Amount column if you didn't receive the amount you were supposed to.

  • You can view the date in the ACH Date column to see the date the amount has been submitted to the customer.

Things to know

  • A settled batch consists of payments that the bank remits to the merchant after issuing it.

  • TransLink is the portal for TSYS. For more information, see TSYS.

  • To set up your TransLink merchant access, go to the TransLink web page and register for an account.

View settled batches

To view settled batches in TransLink:

  1. Log in to TransLink.

  2. Click Transactions.

  3. Enter a date range.

  4. Click Create Report.
    A list of batches appears. Summary of VISA transactions including dates, amounts, and total deposits.

  5. You can click Details to view a breakdown of transactions within that batch or click Card Types to view the credit card summary. Table displaying details and card types with buttons for interaction.

To view Chargeback or Retrieval Reports in TransLink:

  1. Log into TransLink.

  2. Under Chargeback/Retrieval Reports, click DetailsDocument showing details of a chargeback transaction including amounts and dates.

  3. Enter a date range for your report and click Create Report.

  4. A list of chargebacks appears. The list includes:        

    • Dates

    • Amounts

    • Case number                

      Note: You will need a chargeback case number when contacting chargeback support.

  5. Click View under View Documents for details on a specific chargeback.

Locate the invoice associated with a chargeback in ServiceTitan

When contesting a chargeback, you may need to locate the invoice associated with the chargeback to upload in TransLink.

To locate the invoice associated with a chargeback in ServiceTitan:

  1. Follow the steps mentioned in View Chargeback or Retrieval Reports in TransLink.

  2. On the chargeback PDF, make a note of the transaction authorization code.

  3. In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Search .

  4. Click the Search dropdown and select Payment.

  5. On the Authorization Code field, enter the authorization code found on the chargeback PDF.

  6. When finished, click Search .

  7. Find and click the invoice associated with the chargeback.

  8. Click Print to open the invoice in print format.

  9. Click Download to download a copy of the invoice.

You can send the invoice to tsysdisputecustomerservice@e-hps.com or upload the invoice by clicking Send in Translink under Chargeback details for the transaction in question.
