Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity reports

Overview

These reports track the dollar value of revenue generated from replacement work originating from service opportunities. The report is available for different time periods and allows you to pinpoint when the most revenue-generating service opportunities occur.

You can create one main Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity report that shows the revenue from opportunity jobs and the replacement revenue per service opportunity during a selected time period.

You can also create the following replacement revenue reports that show a breakdown of the replacement revenue per service opportunity per employee by a specific time period:

  • Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Hour: Shows an hour-by-hour breakdown of the Replacement Revenue per Service Opportunity on a selected day of the week

  • Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Day Of Week: Shows the Replacement Revenue per Service Opportunity for every day in a selected week

  • Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Month: Shows the Replacement Revenue per Service Opportunity for every month of a selected year

  • Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Quarter: Shows the Replacement Revenue per Service Opportunity for every quarter in a selected year

  • Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Week Of Year: Shows the Replacement Revenue per Service Opportunity for every week in a selected year

Create the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity report

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports. 

  2. On the Reports screen that opens, click Create Report. 

  3. In the Choose report type section, select All. 

  4. In the Select a report template section, select the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity report template.

  5. In the Columns to be displayed in the report section, leave all the columns selected. Then, click Next. 

  6. On the following screen, enter the report details:

    1. Enter Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity for the report name

    2. Select Operations from the Category dropdown menu. 

    3. Enter an optional description. This provides a short description of the report in case you have multiple reports with similar names. 

    4. Keep the checkbox selected next to Share this report for view/edit with all other users whose permissions allow them to view/edit this type of report.

  7. When finished, click Save.
    You only need to create the report once. After creating the report, you can simply run the report from the main Reports screen.

Create the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity with a specific time period reports

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports. 

  2. On the Reports screen that opens, click Create Report. 

  3. In the Choose report type section, select All. 

  4. In the Select a report template section, select one of the following report templates:

    1. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Hour

    2. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Day Of Week

    3. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Month

    4. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Quarter

    5. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Week Of Year

  5. In the Columns to be displayed in the report section, leave all the columns selected. Then, click Next. 

  6. On the following screen, enter the report details:

    1. Enter the following for the report name, depending on which template you selected:

      1. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Hour

      2. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Day Of Week

      3. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Month

      4. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Quarter

      5. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Week Of Year

    2. Select Operations from the Category dropdown menu.

  7. When finished, click Save.

Run the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity report

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports. 

  2. In the Search field, enter Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity.

  3. Click on the report card to open it. 

  4. On the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity screen that opens, set the following filters:

    1. Click the From - To field to set date filters. You can:

      • Use the calendar to select a specific date range and then click Apply.

      • Use the left menu to select a preset date range:

        • Today: From 12:00 AM to the current time.

        • Yesterday: Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

        • This Week: From Monday through Sunday of the current week.

        • Week to Date: From Monday through the current date of the current week.

        • Last 7 Days: Previous seven days, including today.

        • Last 14 Days: Previous 14 days, including today.

        • Last 30 Days: Previous 30 days, including today.

        • Month to Date: From the first of the current month to the current day.

        • Last Month: Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.

        • Last 90 Days: Previous 90 days, including today.

        • This Quarter: Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.

        • Last Quarter: Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.

        • Quarter to Date: From the first day of the current quarter to the current day.

        • Year to Date: From January 1 of the current year to the current day.

        • Last 365 Days: Previous 365 days, including today.

        • Last Year: From January 1 of the previous year to December 31.

    2. From the Business Unit dropdown, select the business units (BUs) you want to report on. By default, the report runs for all BUs.

    3. Use the Technicians dropdown to filter by individual technicians.

  5. When you’re finished, click Run Report. 

Run the Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity by set time period reports

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports. 

  2. In the Search field, enter the name of the report you want to run. For example, enter Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Day Of Week.

  3. Click on the report card to open it. 

  4. On the report screen that opens, use the Day filter to set the selected timeframe for the report:

    1. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Hour: Select the day you want the report to filter on

    2. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Day of Week: select a day in the week you want the report to filter on

    3. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Month: Select a day in the month you want the report to filter on

    4. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Quarter: Select a day in the quarter you want the report to filter on

    5. Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity By Week of Year: Select a day in the year you want the report to filter on

  5. From the Business Unit dropdown, select the business units (BUs) you want to report on. By default, the report runs for all BUs.

  6. Use the Technicians dropdown to filter by individual technicians. 

  7. When you’re finished, click Run Report.

Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity by Day of Week: Days of Week (Mon, Tues, Wed, etc.)

The percentage of Replacement Revenue that occurred during each day of the week.

Replacement Revenue Per Service Opportunity by Month: Months of the year (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, etc.)

The percentage of Replacement Revenue that occurred during each month of the year.
