Things to know
For ServiceTitan accounts, you must register for texting with The Campaign Registry (TCR) before you can submit your Marketing Registration. For more, see Register your business for SMS and MMS delivery.
When setting up SMS, choose your brand carefully. You can only configure SMS for one brand at a time. After you configure SMS for a specific brand, you won't be able to configure these settings for any other bands. To maximize coverage, consider configuring SMS for a headquarter brand to cover multiple brands using the same configuration.
Your marketing registration can take up to two weeks to be approved. During this time, a Registration in Progress displays on this screen. After your registration is approved, the tag updates to Registered.
After your marketing registration is approved, you can begin generating opt-in requests for marketing text messages. For more, see Generate opt-in requests for marketing text messages.
Best practices to ensure your Marketing Registration is approved
To ensure your marketing registration is approved, we recommend following these best practices:
Ensure you have an active website with company details, contact information, and descriptions of your services or products. If you don't have a website, a well-established Facebook or Instagram page may be enough.
Include a valid privacy policy on your website. This policy should clearly state that personal information will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Not having a compliant privacy policy on your website greatly increases your chances of being declined and having to resubmit your registration.
Submit SMS marketing registration
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Marketing Pro > SMS Settings.
Click SMS Marketing Registration.

Click Configure for the brand you want to submit the marketing registration for.

Enter the Employer Identification Number (EIN) for the brand then click Next.
Note: For ServiceTitan accounts, the Employer Identification Number (EIN), Business Information, and Business Identifiers and Stock details sections populate automatically with the information you submitted when registering for texting. If you need to update this information, contact Technical Support for assistance. Otherwise, you can skip to Step #10.

In the Business Information section, enter the following information:
Legal Business Name: Enter the legal business name listed on your federal taxes.
Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code: Company address for the brand.
Note: Address field names may differ depending on the country of the homeowner. For example, customers in the United States will see the Zip Code and State fields whereas Canadian customers will see the Postal Code and Province fields.
Contact Phone Number: Enter a contact phone number that The Campaign Registry (TCR) can use to reach out if any issues arise.
Contact Email Address: Enter a contact email address that The Campaign Registry (TCR) can use to reach out if any issues arise.
Company Website: Enter the URL for your company website or enter the website name as it appears in your marketing materials.
Primary Contact - First Name: Enter the first name of the person who should be contacted in case carriers and TCR need to reach out.
Primary Contact - Last Name: Enter the last name of the person who should be contacted in case carriers or TCR need to reach out.

When finished, click Next.
In the Business Identification and Stock Market section, enter your company's DBA Name if different from your legal business name and indicate if your company is publicly traded on the stock market.

When finished, click Next.
In the Messaging Usage Details section, enter your SMS Objective. Clearly explain how you plan to use marketing SMS messages, detailing your purpose and type of messages you intend to send. Make sure the description is appropriate and realistic for your brand.

Provide two unique sample messages that reflect the type of messages you plan to send. When providing your sample messages, keep the following in mind:
Remember to include opt-out language at the end of the messages. By default, ServiceTitan appends 'Text STOP to opt-out.' to the end of every message. You should include this in your sample messages.
If you regularly include links or phone numbers in your messages, include the most common link and phone number in a sample message. Be sure to use real URLs and phone numbers and not placeholders.
When finished with the Messaging Usage Details, click Next.
In the Terms & Conditions section that opens, confirm you agree to the terms and that the information provided is accurate then click Submit.
On the Submit for Registration pop-up that opens, confirm you want to submit your marketing registration.

Note: Recipients can reply to any of your messages with the word 'STOP' to unsubscribe from your SMS marketing communications.
