Overview
Deactivate serial number tracking to remove serial numbers assigned to an item. You can deactivate serial number tracking for items you're not stocking or installing in a high volume or items that cost more to track than replace.

Deactivate a serial number tracking
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook
.From the side menu, select Materials or Equipment. For example, select Equipment.
On the Equipment page that opens, select the item for which you want to deactivate serialization.
From the Actions dropdown, select View/Edit Equipment.
On the Edit Equipment page that opens, click the Inventory Settings tab.
Click the Serial Number Tracking card.
On the Serial Number Tracking page that opens, click Deactivate Serial Number Tracking.
Note: Once you deactivate serial number tracking, serial numbers are instantly removed from the material or equipment.
On the verification pop-up message, click Deactivate.
