Overview
Custom-built report templates are specially created by request for individual companies. These templates are not free and have a cost associated with them. You can request a custom-built report template for your company through your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
For example, you are currently running a report and exporting the report to Excel to perform custom calculations. Your CSM can submit a request to have a custom-built report template created for you so you don’t have to perform the calculations yourself.

Important considerations when requesting a custom-built report template:
After you work with your CSM to compose your request for a custom-built report template, the CSM will submit the request for review.
A custom report engineer will then review the request. If it is determined that the request can be completed as written, they will estimate the number of hours it will take to build the report.
At this point, you will be given the cost associated with building the report and the option to move forward or cancel the request. The minimum cost of building a custom-built report template is around $1,800.
If approved, you must provide the First and Last Name and Email address of the person who will sign the Statement of Work and the cost provided via DocuSign.
Custom reports using custom-built report templates:
Currently, custom reports using custom-built report templates refresh instantaneously. For example, you have a custom report using a custom-built report template containing the Jobs dataset. If you update a Job Record, save it, and immediately run your customer report, the updated Job Record info appears in the report.
Custom reports using a custom-built report template created after September 2024 will be more stable and run faster over large datasets and date ranges. These custom reports may have a slower refresh time frame. Currently, the delay could be between 25 to 45 minutes.
