Overview
With the integration connected and catalog items in your Pricebook, send insurance estimates to Xactimate to get carrier-approved pricing and then receive the priced Estimate back into ServiceTitan.

Feature configuration
The Send Insurance Estimate to Xactimate permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Note: This permission is located under Employee Permissions > Estimates. It is off by default for all users and only visible when the Insurance Estimating feature is enabled for your account.
Things to know
The measurement sketch feature (sending measurement data to Xactimate with your estimate) works with Hover and EagleView only. GAF QuickMeasure is not supported for sketch inclusion.
To include measurement sketches when sending estimates to Xactimate, enable the sketch inclusion option in your Xactimate integration settings. When this setting is off, the option to include measurements does not appear on the Send to Xactimate window.
Send an estimate to Xactimate
Search
and open the insurance estimate you want to send.Verify that all item groups are associated with a structure and that the line items are from the Xactimate catalog.
Note: Items not associated with a structure or not from the Xactimate catalog are not included in the Xactimate payload. Non-Xactimate items within a structure grouping are also excluded. Item groups with an inactive or deleted structure are excluded and display a warning on the estimate page.
Click Send to Xactimate .
In the Send to Xactimate window that opens, do the following:
In the Estimate Items section, review all line items grouped by structure.
Click
Attach Files to upload photos.Select to include Measurements, if you enabled sketch inclusion during setup and ordered measurements through a supported provider.
If you do not want to send the measurement as a sketch, select Don't send measurement as a sketch.
When finished, click Send.
A toast notification confirms that the estimate is being sent. The estimate and any selected attachments are transmitted directly to Xactimate.
Receive pricing back from Xactimate
Once the estimate is sent, open it in Xactimate to review the line items and pricing.
Make any adjustments needed in Xactimate (if applicable).
In Xactimate, complete the estimate and send it back to ServiceTitan.
In ServiceTitan, a pop-up notification appears confirming that pricing is received from Xactimate.
Open the estimate and see the Synced from Xactimate section.
Note: You do not need to enter any pricing manually. All pricing flows directly from the Xactimate integration.
(Optional) Use the AI PDF parser after receiving Xactimate pricing
After receiving pricing from Xactimate, you may enter a negotiation phase with the adjuster. The adjuster may send back a revised scope as a PDF. You can use the AI PDF parser to compare the adjuster's revisions against your current estimate:
On the estimate page, click Upload PDF > Upload new file.
After uploading, click Review results to see which items were modified, added, or removed.
In the Scope of Work Comparison screen, you can do the following:
Click Changes to see the Review and apply changes section to identify the suggested updates.
Click Unchanged to see which items remained unchanged.
Click Edit
to Accept or revert individual changes for items.
When finished, click Update to update the existing estimate or create a new estimate.
See the Final review screen and click Apply changes.
