Overview
Add maintenance materials to each equipment type to use them in the Equipment drawer and on maintenance schedules. This way, you can standardize setup, improve accuracy, and streamline maintenance planning.

Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.
Things to know
Create equipment types by going to Settings > Equipment > Equipment Types. For more, see Manage equipment types.
Setup maintenance schedules on equipment types for automated Service Agreement creation flows. For more, see Maintenance schedule.
Track maintenance details in the Equipment drawer. For more, see Manage maintenance details.
Add maintenance materials
Go to the top toolbar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Equipment > Equipment Types.
Add or edit an equipment type.
On the Equipment Type screen, go to the Maintenance Materials section and click + Add Maintenance Materials.

Search for the material you want and click Add. This adds the material to the equipment type.

Note: If you don't see the material you need in the list, you can add it by clicking Add, which creates a new custom material that can be used across all equipment types.

Based on your equipment type setup, these materials are automatically available in the Equipment drawer and on maintenance schedules.
Edit a custom maintenance material name

Go to the top toolbar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Equipment > Equipment Types.
Add or edit an equipment type.
On the Equipment Type screen, go to the Maintenance Materials section.
Click + Add Maintenance Materials.
Search for a custom maintenance material.
Click Edit.

In the window that opens, edit the name and click Save.

Delete a custom maintenance material
If the custom material is not used on any equipment types, you can delete it from the list.

On the Equipment Type screen, go to the Maintenance Materials section.
