Overview
When you assign a maintenance material type to an equipment record, the Maintenance Details tab automatically inherits it in the Equipment drawer. You can add or edit descriptions, set quantities, and link each item to Pricebook materials to improve consistency, reduce manual setup, and save time.

Things to know
Create maintenance materials by going to Settings > Equipment > Equipment Types. For more, see Manage equipment types.
Manage maintenance material details
On the Location screen, click Equipment.
Select the equipment record you want to edit.
In the Equipment drawer that opens, click Maintenance Details.
Select a maintenance material you want to manage and click Edit.
Add or edit maintenance material description
Add a quantity
Select material from Pricebook if needed
When finished, click Save Changes.
