CRM Opportunities overview

Overview

The first thing you see when you navigate to CRM is the Opportunities screen. It allows you to view all opportunities created on this page, pulled from unsold estimates, service agreements that haven't been accepted yet, technician findings, and more.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, managers, sales managers, and customer service representatives (CSRs)

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Feature configuration

  • This feature is currently in Private Preview and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, join the waitlist here.

Open Opportunities screen

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click CRM.

  2. Click Opportunities to view and manage all opportunities. CRM dashboard displaying opportunities, stages, and deal values for effective management.

View Opportunities screen

The Opportunities screen has three tabs:

  • All: Shows all opportunities.

  • Jobs: Shows all opportunities created within the Job Pipeline.

  • Service Agreements: Shows all opportunities created within the Service Agreement Pipeline.

  • Projects: Shows all opportunities created within the Project Pipeline.

The Opportunities screen includes two sections: filters and the table.

Filters

Organize the opportunities by various criteria such as:

  • Creation Date: Date the opportunity was created.

  • Source Type: Type of source from which the opportunity was created, such as Convex, Manually Created, Service Agreement, Technician Findings, and Unsold Estimate.

  • Stage: The current stage of the opportunity in the sales pipeline, including New, Qualify, Propose, Follow Up, and Closed.

  • Created By: The employee who created the opportunity.

  • Business Unit: Business Unit of the opportunity.

  • Est. Close Date: Set an estimated close date for the opportunity from the calendar.

  • Save View: Create and save views for later reference. The Views represent the active filters and sorting applied to the Opportunities table, allowing you to quickly access and work with specific subsets of data.

  • Opportunity statuses:        

    • Open Opportunities: Default view that shows all open opportunities.

    • All Opportunities: Shows all opportunities in all stages.

    • Oldest Open Opportunities: Shows all open opportunities with the earliest creation dates.

    • Manage Views: Edit or delete manually saved views.

  • Sort By: Sort opportunities by:        

    • How long the opportunities have been in the pipeline, such as Oldest (Age) or Newest (Age).

    • Deal value, such as Value: Low to High or Value: High to Low.

  • Stage name box: The number of deals and total amount of opportunities on the current stage.

Table

Shows the following information:

  • Opportunity Name: Name of the opportunity.

  • Stage: The current stage of the opportunity in the sales pipeline, including New, Qualify, Propose, Follow Up, and Closed.

  • Value: The amount of opportunity.

  • Customer & Location: Name of the customer the opportunity was created for.

  • Business Unit: Business Unit of the opportunity.

  • Owner: Employee who is in charge of the opportunity.

  • Source: Source from which the opportunity was created.

  • Next Task: The most recently created open task on the opportunity.

  • Last Activity: The most recent action taken for the opportunity, such as a call, email, note, or task.

  • Pipeline: Opportunities created with the Jobs or Service Agreement pipeline.

  • Age: The number of days since the opportunity was first created.

  • Est. Close Date: Expected date when the opportunity is closed.

  • Est. Start Date: Preliminary project start date before formal proposal.

  • Est. End Date: Preliminary project end date before formal proposal.

Organize Opportunities table

Customize the opportunities table view by reordering, hiding, showing, locking, or unlocking columns.

  1. On the Opportunities screen, click Edit Columns.

  2. From the drawer that opens, you can:

    • Click Lock  to keep a column fixed.

    • Click Hide to remove it from the table view.

    • Use to drag columns to rearrange their order.

  3. When finished, click Apply.

Note: You can change the order of columns by dragging and dropping them.
