Why is the return not appearing in the batch though it shows as batched on the return page, and isn’t in the unbatched section?

Problem

The return has been exported but does not appear in either the batch or the unbatched sections.

Solution

The return should now appear in the batch section as expected.

Check and update the return status, and re-export the batch

  1. Check the status of the return:        

    1. Go to the returns section in ServiceTitan.

    2. Find the specific return.

  2. Verify the status of the return:        

    1. The return needs to be in "Credit received" status.

    2. If it is not, it will not appear in the batch or unbatched section.

  3. Change the status to Credit received:        

    1. Contact your warehouse team.

    2. Ask them to update the status of the return to Credit received.

  4. Re-export the batch:        

    1. Go to the Accounting section.

    2. Find the unbatched section.

    3. Look for the specific return now that its status is "Credit received".

    4. Add it to the batch you want.

    5. Export the batch again.
