Problem

Technicians cannot see the Sell button in the mobile app after presenting an estimate to the customer.

Solution

You can present an estimate to a customer only after you dispatch and arrive to the job in ServiceTitan mobile. Follow the steps provided below to ensure the estimate is successfully sold through the ServiceTitan mobile app.

Present and sell an estimate

  • Open the ServiceTitan mobile app

  • On the Overview tab, tap View current job.

  • Tap Dispatch when you dispatch to the job and Arrive once you arrive at the job location.

  • Present the estimate to the customer using the ServiceTitan mobile app.

  • When the customer is ready to sign, tap View, and then tap Sell. You can also tap E-Sign for a contactless experience.

  • Collect the customer's signature directly in the app once you have presented the estimate.

Note: The customer needs to sign the estimate on your device.

  • You're prompted to authorize the work using a customer signature. Direct the customer to sign directly onto your tablet, and then tap Accept.

  • After the signature is accepted, you're prompted to select whether the work for this estimate is being performed on this job or on a subsequent job.

  • Check if the estimate is marked as sold after collecting the signature.

Note: The sold button will appear once the customer's signature is collected.

  • If you sent the estimate link for an electronic signature, wait for the customer to sign and accept the estimate on their end.

Note: The estimate will automatically be marked as sold after the customer signs electronically.

  • Confirm that the estimate is marked as sold in the ServiceTitan mobile app.
