Problem

You cannot change the location address on an estimate. You must create a new estimate with the correct address and delete the old one.

Solution

You will need to create a new estimate with the correct address and delete the old estimate.

Steps to resolve

  1. Go to the job's invoice or click the Job Actions dropdown on the Job screen.

  2. Click Add an estimate to start a new estimate for the job.        

    Note: Do not duplicate the estimate. Duplicating keeps the old address.

  3. Rename the estimate and add a summary as needed.

  4. Add all tasks, materials, and equipment from the previous estimate to the new estimate.

  5. Review your new estimate to make sure it's complete.

  6. Go back to the Invoice screen.

  7. Delete the original estimate that had the wrong address.

By following these steps, you ensure the estimate reflects the correct location address.
