Problem

The tax amount on the PO is calculated in percentages instead of dollars. This leads to an incorrect total amount.

Solution

1. Open the purchase order in question.

2. Go to the tax section at the bottom of the PO.

3. Check if the tax amount is set to a percentage.

4. Change the tax amount from a percentage to a dollar value.        

   Note: To do this, delete the percentage sign (%) and enter the correct dollar amount ($).

5. Review the total amount at the bottom of the PO.        

   Note: Ensure it now matches the sum of the items plus the correct tax in dollars.

6. Save your changes to the purchase order.
