What causes some purchase orders without job numbers to not appear in search, and how can this be resolved?

Problem

Some POs not linked to a job number don't appear when searching on the Purchasing - Purchase Orders page, even with partial number searches, and no error message is shown.

Solution

To resolve missing purchase orders in ServiceTitan, use an incognito window to verify the issue.

Resolving Search Issues for Purchase Orders in ServiceTitan

  1. Open ServiceTitan in your web browser.

  2. Press CTRL+SHIFT+N to open an incognito window.

  3. Log into ServiceTitan in the incognito window.

  4. Go to the Search icon at the top.

  5. Select Purchase Orders from the dropdown on the left.

  6. Enter the PO number you're looking for.

If the PO appears, the issue was caused by cache problems in your regular browser window. To fix this in your regular browser, clear your browser's cache:

  1. In your browser, go to the settings or options menu.

  2. Find the privacy or history section.

  3. Look for an option to clear browsing data or cache.

  4. Choose to clear cache (and cookies if you wish) from the beginning of time or the past hour, depending on your browser's options.

  5. After clearing the cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and log into ServiceTitan.

Now you can try your search again.
