Use Visit Templates with Service Agreements

Overview

After you create a Visit Template in Settings, you can then use it on the Scope of Work step to quickly create visits for a service agreement. This helps you save time since it creates the visit based on the information in the visit template.

Things to know

• When creating a Service Agreement, you can only select from active visit templates.

• Edits to a visit template DO NOT impact agreements created in the past. Only new agreements created using the edited template contain the updates.

Add a Visit Template to a Service Agreement

When creating a Service Agreement for a customer:

1. In the Scope of Work step, click Add Visit.

2. Select the desired Visit Template to create a visit with the information from the visit template.        

   Note: You can only choose from visit templates that are currently active.

      

3. The following visit information will populate from the selected visit template.        

   1. Visit Name

   2. Visit Recurrence: The cadence at which visits generate.

   3. Visit Window: When the visit template is added to an agreement, the year is automatically populated based on the agreement's start date and duration.

   4. Visit Price: Amount of each service visit.                

      Note: Visit price only applies if per-visit pricing is enabled when creating a service agreement.

   5. Job Type: This populates if it is selected in the visit template.

   6. Labor Hours

   7. Labor Cost

   8. Labor Cost / Hour

   9. Material Cost

   10. Equipment

   11. Task Summary: This populates if it is selected in the visit template.

Edit the visit created from the visit template

After created, you can customize the visit for the specific service agreement by editing the information populated from the visit template.

1. Click . 

2. Make the necessary changes to the visit in the Edit Visit window.

3. Click Save.
