ServiceTitan's Unit of Measure (UoM) feature helps you manage inventory transactions by automatically converting between units, including purchasing, replenishment, transfers, and adjustments.

Benefits
The Unit of Measure (UoM) feature helps you maintain accurate inventory data. It allows you to convert between different Purchasing Units of Measure while maintaining a constant consumption UoM.
Things to know
The Unit of Measure (UoM) can be configured on an individual item level. For example, wire or pipe can have a UoM. Serialized equipment, such as water and heaters, can't have UoM because they are handled individually.
Calculations for replenishment of the items with UoM are based on the UoM enabled on the inventory template assigned to the inventory location.
Note: ServiceTitan accepts only whole numbers for replenishment.
Key workflows
Activate the unit of measure for items
Depending on whether or not an item has pending or completed transactions, there are multiple methods to activate the unit of measure for items:
Activate the unit of measure for items with pending transactions
Activate units of measure for items with current stock levels and completed transactions
Set up a new unit of measure
When you set up different units of measure for one item, you can use them during purchasing, transfers, and adjustments. You can also send purchase orders for UoM-enabled items directly from the Requisition screen.
