Things to know
ServiceTitan supports two approved integration paths: ServiceTitan Certified Apps and Customer-Built Apps.
Tunneling apps are prohibited. ServiceTitan does not allow third parties to use your App Key to access your account.
If ServiceTitan identifies a prohibited integration, you may be asked to disconnect it.
For questions about integration compliance, contact integrations@servicetitan.com.
ServiceTitan Certified Apps (recommended)
A ServiceTitan Certified App is developed, hosted, and managed by a third party. It goes through a rigorous review by ServiceTitan to confirm it meets best practices for security, reliability, and performance. Certified Apps integrate without requiring you to share App Keys.
To get started, visit marketplace.servicetitan.com and browse available apps.
Customer-Built Apps (supported)
A Customer-Built App is created, hosted, and maintained by you. You use your own App Keys to connect your software to ServiceTitan without sharing those keys with external software you do not control.
To get started with a Customer-Built App:
Confirm you are on The Works or Ent Plus package.
Email integrations@servicetitan.com to request an Integration Environment.
After you receive your Integration Environment, proceed with your integration.
For detailed setup steps, see Get started with API dev portal V2.
Tunneling apps (prohibited)
Tunneling occurs when a third-party application you do not own or control is granted access to your App Key to establish an integration. This method is prohibited.
Tunneling can occur in the following ways:
A third party asks you to create an app and share its App Key.
You grant a third-party user permissions to create apps, allowing them to generate and use the App Key.
ServiceTitan prohibits tunneling for the following reasons:
Identity masking: Third parties can operate under your company's identity without your knowledge.
Ungoverned data access: Neither you nor ServiceTitan can monitor or control what data is accessed or how it is used.
