Reasons why you can't edit a visit

When working with Service Agreements visits, there are situations where you can't edit a visit. These include:

  • The visit is already booked into a job.

  • The job status is Completed.

  • The job invoice is not in Pending status.

  • The visit is marked as Dismissed.

If you want to edit the visit, you can detach the job. This changes the visit status to Unscheduled, at which point you can edit it and rebook the job.

Note: If the job has already been worked and completed, you can't detach the visit from the job and the visit remains uneditable.
