Unable to Change SIP Number

Problem

You are unable to change the SIP number for a specific marketing campaign. The changes were not saving.

Solution

  1. Go to Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. > Phones > Phone Numbers.

  2. Enter the new SIP number in the "Forwarding number settings" field for the phone number associated with the marketing campaign.  

    Note: Correct format to enter the SIP destination is [sip:+1XXXXXXXXXX@IP ADDRESS:5060].

  3. Save the changes and refresh the page to ensure the changes have been made.

  4. If the changes are not saving, contact Technical Support.

  5. If you encounter a permission issue, request your admin to turn on the Forwarding number settings permission for you and anyone else who needs access to it.
