Solution

Taxes do not appear on invoices even when they should be applied to the customer's location. The problem typically occurs when customer locations are not properly validated in the system. To resolve this issue, check the following:

Validate customer location then remove and re-add the invoice item

  1. Go to the customer's location record in ServiceTitan.

  2. Check if the location is validated.

  3. If the location is not validated, validate it now.

  4. Go back to the invoice.

  5. Remove the item from the invoice.

  6. Add the item back to the invoice.

  7. Verify that taxes now appear on the invoice.
