Overview
Set up inventory locations to track and manage where your inventory items are stored. Adding warehouses helps you manage the inventory in your physical warehouse. Adding trucks helps you manage your fleet and inventory items on each truck.
Who uses this feature
Administrators and office employees
Note: If these instructions don't work for you, you may still be using the previous version of this feature. See Set up your account for truck inventory replenishment for more information about that version.
Things to know
If you only have the Purchasing module enabled, the Inventory section under Settings is renamed Purchasing.
Before you add any trucks, you need to add at least one warehouse. All trucks need to be tied to a warehouse. If a truck does not have a warehouse assigned to it, you will be unable to create purchase orders associated with that truck.
You can't assign one technician to multiple trucks, however you can assign multiple technicians to one truck.
