By following the steps in this guide, you can efficiently create, present, and close roofing proposals to drive successful deal outcomes and deliver a professional customer experience. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Sales associates - Primarily for Residential Roofing contractors #### Feature configuration - This workflow uses [Spec Based Estimate Templates](/roofing/docs/set-up-spec-based-estimate-templates), a feature that is in private preview. If not already enabled, please [sign up for the private preview here](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeBzJrSA5jNnlwsZ-39_ZLJdeSA6GwA6i8xl25iOsYYRHz0uw/viewform). ## Things to know - If using one of our integrated third-party measurement tools, review those specific workflows here: [Hover](/roofing/docs/create-estimates-with-hover-in-servicetitan-and-servicetitan-mobile), [Eagleview](/roofing/docs/create-estimates-with-eagleview), [GAF Quickmeasure](/roofing/docs/create-estimates-with-gaf-quickmeasure). - If measurements have been previously collected, [you can create an estimate from the office application](/roofing/docs/manage-spec-based-estimate-templates-in-servicetitan-and-servicetitan-mobile#create-spec-based-estimates-from-office) before your arrival onsite. ## Conduct a sales visit During a sales visit, proposals allow you to present multiple estimates in a formal document to gain customer approval, collect payment, and close out the sales job. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** During a sales visit, you can create custom proposals or use pre-built templates.
