Overview
You can reschedule a job or change the duration by editing the job appointment. When you reschedule a job rather than create a new job and cancel the old one, you retain all records and information associated with the original job and ensure more accurate reporting.

Things to know
You can’t reschedule a job once the invoice has been posted or exported.
To reschedule a canceled job, first remove the cancellation by using Job Actions > Remove Cancelation.
To reschedule an appointment that’s on hold, first remove the hold first using More
on the appointment card. If the entire job is on hold, use Job Actions > Remove Hold.Rescheduling an appointment from the Job screen resets the technician’s status to Scheduled.
Rescheduling an appointment from the Dispatch Board by dragging and dropping keeps the technician’s status unchanged.
Changing the duration of an appointment from the dispatch board, will not reset the technician's status.
Reschedule a job
There are multiple ways to reschedule a job. You can perform a bulk edit or edit a single appointment on the job record or you can drag or right click the appointment on the dispatch board.
Scroll down to Scheduled Appointments.
Click Edit to perform a bulk edit or click the Pencil
to edit a single appointment.Click the Calendar
to edit Start Date.Click the Clock
to edit Start Time.If you want to edit the duration select Edit Appointment End Time and add an end time.
Click Save Changes.

Reschedule a job from the Dispatch Board
You can reschedule appointments from your dispatch board by right clicking the appointment you want to reschedule or by dragging the appointment to it’s new time.

You can also change the duration of an appointment by clicking and dragging on an end of the appointment.
