Phones not ringing and inbound calls dropping

Problem

Calls appear in ServiceTitan, but there are no rings or if the calls are answered, they drop after a short amount of time. The phone does not ring when calls come in.

Solution

1. Contact your phone provider to confirm what is causing the calls to drop. The call forwarding would bounce from ServiceTitan to your provider. Due to this, calls ring into ST but "bounce" once they reach the provider if there is an issue with the routing.

2. Request assistance from your service provider to give the phone a firmware update. The phone ringing issue may be due to your phone being either behind on an update or being behind on a firmware update. Once updated, the ring should occur more frequently going forward.

3. If your phone provider determines nothing is wrong on their end, contact ServiceTitan Technical Support to troubleshoot further.
