Overview
Enable the Template Pricebook Items feature in ServiceTitan to add a template service, material, or equipment to the estimate or invoice and edit the price and description, regardless of permission to complete the job.

Things to know
When you activate the Enable Template Pricebook Items toggle, you can’t revert it as it’s irreversible.
Add a service, material, or equipment as a template
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
Create a service, material, or equipment you want to add as a template. For more, see Add services to your pricebook, Add materials to your pricebook, and Add equipment to your pricebook.
Tip: Ensure templates are clearly labeled as Template item service, Template item material, or Template item equipment for easy identification.
Enable the Template Pricebook Item feature
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
. In the side panel, click Operations > Template Pricebook Items.
(Recommended) Click Auto-Generate Items to use the generic placeholder for your template item.
Or,Select the service, material, or equipment to use the unique items you created.
Select the Enable Edit in Mobile option to allow technicians to edit the template item field when added to the estimate or invoice.

When finished, click Save.
Manage template pricebook items on the Estimate screen
Find a template item you added to your estimate and edit the description and the price.
On the Estimate screen, search for a service, equipment, or material template item.
Edit the price and description of these items.

Manage template items in ServiceTitan Mobile
In ServiceTitan Mobile, go to the current job and tap Invoice.
Tap Add Items.
Select Template Items.
Select the template item.
Edit the description and the price.
Tap Add To Invoice.

When finished, tap Done.
Note: The name of the template item remains the same, only the description is updated.
