Overview
Assigning permissions to your employees and technicians allows you to manage your inventory more efficiently. You can control who can view and edit your inventory through employee permissions so you can protect potentially sensitive pricebook details.

Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.
Employee permissions
To change an individual employee's purchasing and inventory permissions:
Go to the top toolbar and click Settings
.From the side menu, select People > Employees.
On the Employees screen that opens, select the employee whose permissions you want to set and click Edit.

On the Edit Employee screen that opens, click the Permissions tab.

Go to Purchasing & Inventory.

You can now change an individual employee's purchasing and inventory permissions. For more details about permissions, see Explanation of office employee permissions in ServiceTitan.
Technician permissions
To change an individual technician's purchasing and inventory permissions:
Go to the top toolbar and click Settings
.From the side menu, select People > Technicians.
On the Technicians screen that opens, select the technician whose permissions you want to set and click Edit.
On the Edit Technician screen that opens, click the Permissions tab.
Go to Purchasing & Inventory.
