Problem
You received a payment for a specific amount but you are unsure where it was applied in ServiceTitan.
Solution
You can search for a payment in the following areas:
From the search page:
Go to the navigation bar and click Search.
On the search screen, select Payments from the Search dropdown.
Use the following filters to narrow down your search and see all of the transactions around the same time of the transaction in your statement:
Paid Before: Set the beginning of the date range you want to include in your search.
Paid After: Set the end of the date range you want to include in your search.
In the search results, compare transaction dates and amounts to locate the payment received.
When you locate the payment, click the invoice link to see the invoice where the payment was applied.
From the Customer Profile:
Go to the navigation bar and click Search.
On the search screen, select Customer from the Search dropdown.
Enter search details on the customer and click Search.
Click on the customer associated with the payment.
On the Customer Profile that opens, click Payments.
Use the Filter icon on the column headers to filter the payments.
Click on a column header to sort the payments.
From the invoice screen:
Go to the navigation bar and click Search.
On the search screen, select Invoice from the Search dropdown.
Enter search details on the invoice and click Search.
Click on the invoice associated with the payment.
On the invoice screen that opens, click Collect and apply payment.
On the Collect and Apply Payments screen that opens, select Credits.
The Credit section expands to show available credit from payments collected from the customer.
