How to Fix Job Costing Issues When Timesheets are Edited

Job Costing is still showing incorrect data even after editing the timesheet for a job that was completed in the past.
Solution
Once you have made the edits to the timesheets in question, go to the navigation bar and click the Profile icon.
Select Payroll Approval.
Select the date range in which the job was completed and the timesheet is for.
Find the technician in the list and click View actions.
Click Update now.
Refresh the job costing screen to ensure changes are synced.
Note: Updating timesheets requires the View or update payroll tab on technician edit permission.
Congratulations! You have successfully fixed job costing issues when timesheets are edited in ServiceTitan.
The calculation of actual costs (labor, materials, overhead) against revenue for each job to determine true profitability.
What it does: Shows which job types, technicians, or BUs are truly profitable after accounting for all costs, not just top-line revenue.
