How do I set the "Sold By" field to automatically fill when a technician selects "Perform Work Now" in ServiceTitan Mobile?

Problem

Users needs the Sold By field to auto-fill with the technician's name when they select Perform Work Now when selling an estimate. This change will not affect past invoices or estimates. It only applies to future ones.

Solution

This is a feature that can be enabled on your account. You need to contact ServiceTitan Technical Support or your success manager to turn it on for you.

  1. After the feature is enabled, navigate to Settings > People > Technician > Permissions and make sure to enable the Assign sold by permission for the technician.

  2. After enabling, when a technician selects Perform Work Now, the Sold By field will auto-fill. This does not work for Perform Work Later options.

Note: This feature is not retroactive and does not affect the invoices or estimates created before the activation of the feature.
