How do I find my monthly outbound call count?

Problem

You need to see how many outbound calls your team made in a month.

Solution

Workflow Summary

You can create a custom report based on the Calls report template. You can also use Search to find outbound calls with month-to-date range. The call total appears in the bottom right corner.

Create a Calls report

  1. Go to Reports in the main navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Report.

  3. Under Choose report type, select All.

  4. Under Select a report template, select Calls. 

  5. Make sure the Direction column is selected for your report.

  6. Add or remove additional columns from your report, then click Next.

  7. Give the report a name, select the category where the report displays on the main Reports screen, and provide an optional description for the report.

  8. When you're finished, click Save.

  9. On the report that opens, set the From - To filter to Last Month. This shows the call information for the last month.

  10. When you're finished setting filters, click Run Report.

  11. The report runs and lists call information in a table.

  12. On the Direction column, click Filter .

  13. Under the first Contains field, type Outbound. Then click Filter.

  14. The report results update, showing only Outbound calls.

Use Search

  1. Go to Search in the top toolbar.

  2. From the first dropdown, select Call.

  3. From the Call Direction dropdown, select Outbound.

  4. Set Date From to the first date of the last month. For example, enter August 1.

  5. Set the Date To to the last date of the last month. For example, August 31.

  6. When you're finished setting search parameters, click Search.

  7. The search results update, showing you all Outbound calls from the last month.

  8. Export the search results to either XLSX or CSV by clicking   and selecting the export format.
