How can we resend unsold estimate followup email in ServiceTitan?

Problem

Users cannot automatically set a follow-up date for unsold estimates. And you cannot filter based on Business units, you need to create a report to filter based on BU and then send the follow up emails manually.

Solution

To set automatice followup emails for unsold estimates, you can setup the Estimate follow up email in Settings. However, the option to filter based on business units is not available in this feature. To filter unsold estimates via BU's, you can use a report and manually follow up on the unsold estimates.

Using the Resend Estimate Feature

  1. Go to Settings > Invoicing > Email in ServiceTitan.

  2. Select Estimate.

  3. Click on Resend the Estimate.

  4. Set the resend date to If the Estimate Hasn't Been Accepted and specify the number of days.        

    Note: This method automatically resends the estimate to the customer.

If you do not use auto resend for estimates, proceed to the next method to filter based on Business units, but you will have to send the followup emails manually.

Scheduling the Opportunity and Estimate Follow Up Report

  1. From the Navigation bar, go to Reports.

  2. Search and open the Opportunity and Estimate Follow Up report.

  3. Schedule this report to generate automatically. Fore more details, see Schedule reports.

  4. Filter the report by Creation date. Set it to show estimates with a creation date 2 days prior or as many days as you desire. This filters the report to only include estimates that are x days old.

  5. Edit the columns in the report to include the information you need for follow-up.

  6. Now you need to manually follow up on each unsold estimate manually.

This workaround allows you to manually follow up on unsold estimates for commercial business units
