If you use inventory in ServiceTitan, you have the ability to turn off a setting that automatically creates a bill when a PO is received. As bills are what is exported to QuickBooks as part of the purchasing process, it may be necessary to find those outstanding POs where a bill has not been created for accurate accounting and inventory.
This article provides a reporting solution to find received purchase orders where a bill has not been created.
Workflows
Build a Report to isolate received POs without a created Bill
The workflow to find the POs will involve building a custom report and filtering the correct column to isolate the information needed.
Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.
Click Create Reports button in the top right corner of the screen.
Choose the Purchasing & Inventory report type and then select the Inventory report template.
Include the following columns as well as any additional columns desired and click Next:
Transaction Type
Transaction Number
Date Received
Date Billed
Name the report, choose the category, and click Next.
Once in the report, click the antenna in the "Transaction Type" column and filter the column to CONTAIN the word Receipt.
Next click the antenna in the "Date Billed" column and filter the column to Is Null.

In the filters at the top of the report, choose the date range for the Received Dates for which you are looking for the POs in the "From - To". Leave the other filters to "All".

Click Run Report.
