Overview
You can create item groups on both estimates and estimate templates. Item groups on estimates let technicians present complex packages as a single line item. Item groups on estimate templates offer the same functionality but save time in the field by eliminating the need to build these packages during a job.

Things to know
Item groups appear as a single line item only on customer-facing estimates and invoices. Individual items within a group are visible from the office and when running reports.
Creating item groups on estimate templates does not create new items in your pricebook
When presenting estimates in ServiceTitan Mobile, technicians can edit items in an item group. These changes are not saved to the estimate template.
You can duplicate an existing Item Group from the Item Group menu to quickly create a copy of the group and all its sub-items.
Item group descriptions are managed separately from parent item descriptions and are what appear on customer-facing estimates and invoices. If the item group description is left empty, ServiceTitan uses the parent item's description from Pricebook.
