Create pricing for a service agreement
Click Add to add Service Agreement Pricing.

On the Service Agreement Pricing page that opens, you can define the Total Agreement Price directly or use Markup & Surcharge.
Manually set the Total Agreement Price. This allows you to set the price directly without defining Markup Values or Surcharge.
Enter the price in the Total Agreement Price field.
When finished, click Save.

Enable the toggle Define Markup Value and Surcharge. This allows you to automatically set the Total Agreement Price by defining the Markup Value for Labor Cost and Material Cost.
Define the Labor Cost's Markup Value. This value is multiplied by the labor cost and is used to calculate the total agreement price.
(Optional) Add a Surcharge for Labor Cost. This value is added to the labor cost and is used to calculate the total agreement price.
Define the Material Cost's Markup Value. This value is multiplied by the material cost amount and is used to calculate the total agreement price.
(Optional) Add a Surcharge for Material Cost. This value is added to the material cost amount and is used to calculate the total agreement price.
Review the Total Agreement Price and estimated Gross Margin values to ensure that they will meet your organization's margin targets for service agreements, and click Save.

Note: The two ways of setting the price work independently. Enabling or disabling the toggle Define Markup Value and Surcharge returns the values to their respective states.
Choose Client-Specific pricing rules for a service agreement
Optionally, you can add a Client-Specific Pricing rule. The selected rule will be used to calculate the prices of any unplanned or pull-through work while the agreement is active.
In the Client-Specific Pricing section, click Choose Rule.

From the Choose a Client-Specific Pricing Rule screen that opens, select a rule and click Save Rule.
Note: For more information on Client-Specific Pricing Rules, see Set up unique prices with client-specific pricing, Assign labor types and client-specific pricing rate, and Apply client-specific pricing rate sheets on an invoice or estimate.
Note: To view the details of the Client-Specific Pricing Rule, click View Details. To edit Step 5: Pricing information, click Edit and make the updates.
When finished, click Continue to Next Step to go to Step 6: Billing Schedule and Payment Terms.
