Things to know
You can now customize the PDF Document Design of your Service Agreements using Template Manager. We recommend that you duplicate the default document template and then make modifications to the duplicate, as the original/default template is not editable. This also helps ensure that the customized template aligns with your specific needs while preserving the integrity of the default template.
Create Service Agreements
Service Agreements can be created in the following locations:
On a Customer Record or Location Record, click Create Agreement in the Service Agreements section.

On a Customer Record or Location Record, click More, then click Create Agreement.

Step 1: Summary and Design
In the Step 1: Summary and Design screen, review or, if needed, make changes to the:
Agreement Name: Enter a name for the agreement.
Service Agreement template: Select an SA template from the dropdown list.
Business Unit: Select a BU from the dropdown list.
(Optional) Account Manager: Select an employee who is responsible for the SA.
(Optional) Sold By: Select an employee who sold the SA.
(Optional) Tags: Select a tag from the dropdown list.
Tip: Use tags to support internal coordination. For example, you might add a tag such as Needs Review to indicate that an agreement requires attention or action from your team. Tags allow you to filter and organize agreements in the Follow Up > Service Agreements to quickly identify items that require review or follow-up.
Select a Document Template Design: This is the document template that will be used to generate the PDF for this agreement. To review the template design, click View Template. The template opens in a new window where you can review its design.

(Optional) Agreement Summary: Enter a summary of the service agreement. The summary is used to capture details that will be shared with your team internally.
When finished, click Continue to Next Step. This takes you to Step 2: Locations and Contacts.
