Where you see it: The invoice you want to send to the customer.
Where you fix it: The job record (attach the image), then the invoice Email screen.
What you're seeing
You want a customer's invoice to include equipment pictures, but there's no way to attach an image file to the invoice itself. The image only lives on the job, so it isn't clear how to get it in front of the customer.
Why this happens
There is 1 common reason.
Reason 1
Images attach to the job, not to the invoice.
ServiceTitan doesn't attach image files directly to an invoice. Instead, you attach the image to the job, then attach that file to the invoice email when you send it to the customer.
How to fix it
Caution: Before you start, attach the image to the job record (the job's attachments/media), not only to an equipment record. Photos added through an equipment attachments area are linked to the equipment record and may not appear in the invoice email's file picker.
1Attach the image to the job, then attach it to the invoice email
Search for and go to the relevant job.
Attach the image file to the job record.
While on the job screen, click the invoice number to go to the invoice record.
On the invoice screen, click the Email icon to email the invoice.
On the Email Invoice screen, click Attach Files.
On the Attach Files To Email screen, select the files you want to attach and click Attach.
Enter any other relevant information on the invoice email, then click Save.
✓ Done · The customer's invoice email includes the equipment pictures you attached. You're done.
