Activate or deactivate a service agreement template

Overview

Once a Service Agreement template is activated, you can use it to create Service Agreements.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, accountants, estimators, project managers, and operations managers.

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Things to know

  • The Activate and Deactivate buttons display the number of Service Agreements you are activating or deactivating.

Activate a service agreement template

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, click Operations > Service Agreement Templates.

  3. Click the Filter  in the Status column.

  4. Deselect Active and select Inactive.

  5. When finished, click FilterUser selects the 'Active' filter option in a status dropdown menu.

  6. Select the service agreement template you want to activate, then click ActivateService agreement templates with options to add, activate, or deactivate agreements.

Deactivate a service agreement template

If you deactivate a service agreement template, you can no longer use it for creating new service agreements.

To deactivate a service agreement template:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, click Operations > Service Agreement Templates.

  3. Select a service agreement template to deactivate, and then click DeactivateService agreement templates with options to add, activate, or deactivate agreements.        

    Note: Deactivating a service agreement template does NOT impact agreements created in the past. Deactivated templates cannot be used to create new agreements.
