What you're seeing
A customer has an available (unapplied) credit on their account and wants something in writing that shows it — what they might call a "credit note." When you look through ServiceTitan, there's no feature or button labeled "credit note," so it isn't obvious how to produce that document.
Why this happens
Reason 1
ServiceTitan has no "credit note" document; available credit appears on the customer's Statement instead.
A customer's available credit is shown on their Statement, which lists any unapplied credit at the bottom along with the date it was added. Printing or emailing the Statement gives the customer the written record of their credit.
How to fix it
1Print or email the customer's Statement
Use this if the customer wants a written record of their available (unapplied) credit.
Search for and open the customer profile.
On the Customer Record, click the More icon in the top right and select Statement Actions > Print Statement.
Review the statement — the unapplied credit appears at the bottom of the page, along with the date the credit was added.
Print the statement for your customer, or select Email Statement to send it to the customer by email.
✓ Done · The customer has a printed or emailed Statement showing their available credit and the date it was added.
