Release Notes - December 2018
NEW
CALL BOOKING
Clear filter options: When in the process of booking a call, if you need to perform a different search while still on the call, you can clear all filters you have previously filled by clicking Clear rather than having to backtrack through all the fields.
Clicking Clear will only clear your Search filters and the Search results, not any fields you have filled in the Job Details section.
More visible differences between active and completed calls: The blue border that indicates which call is the current one is more visible.
Additionally, the text for completed calls (grayed-out bubbles) is darker.
More accurate and visible results for Google validation: When using Google for address validation, after clicking on the pop-up preview of the address, the fields will auto-fill completely and correctly.
Previously, what would fill in after you selected an option might be missing a critical piece of the address, like the street name or city.
CAPACITY PLANNING
Remove technician from open capacity board selected by default: If technician capacity planning is on, Remove technician from open capacity board will be checked by default every time a non-job event is created on the Dispatch Board. The checkbox removes the technician from the Open Capacity board for the duration of the non-job event, preventing overbooking. In almost every situation, you will want to remove a technician from the open capacity board, so checking this by default reduces the chance of accidental error.
JOB AUDIT TRAIL
View emailed estimate timestamps in Job History: You can now view history for estimates that were emailed for a job, enabling you to track all history that occurred for that job number.
How it works
When in the Job screen for a job, go to the History section > All tab. If you’ve emailed estimates to your customers or other recipients, you’ll see line items and timestamps for these events. Additionally, you can drill in to each line item to view details for that estimate, or click estimate to view the actual estimate.
For more on job history, see How to use the job history (job audit trail).
MEMBERSHIPS
Opt-out for deferred revenue auto-calculation in the Membership Wizard: When setting up memberships using the Membership Wizard, you will have the option to not auto-calculate deferred revenue for recurring services.
PAYROLL & TIMESHEETS
Deleted non-job timesheet item remains on screen: Previously when deleting a non-job timesheet item, the item would disappear from the page. With this update, the item remains on the page, but is displayed in gray font. The ability to interact with this item is removed.
PRICEBOOK
Action button redesign for Services, Materials, and Equipment: When adding and editing Services, Materials or Equipment items in Pricebook, you'll notice a redesign of the sub tabs and action buttons. The redesign includes
A responsive Save button, which will only be active when you have unsaved changes
Saving, activating, and deactivating an item will no longer take you out of the item detail page
To return to list view, you can now use the back arrow in the upper left hand corner
PURCHASING
Consumption Based Replenishment for Equipment Items: You are now be able to view and manage replenishment for equipment and material items used on the job. Before, you could only view material items used on the job.
