What's new
Until now, your commercial sales team could reach ST CRM only from a desktop browser, so pipeline work paused whenever they were on the road or on a site. Anything learned during a walkthrough had to be written down somewhere else and entered later, which delayed follow-ups and left gaps in the record. Now, tapping CRM in the Field Mobile App opens the full opportunity list, where your team can filter and sort, save their own views, open any opportunity to change its details or stage, add and complete tasks, log calls, meetings, notes, and emails, upload photos, videos, and documents, and review the estimates, service agreements, and contacts tied to that opportunity. Separately, the Field Mobile App menu item that was labeled Opportunities is now labeled CRM for every company, including companies that do not have the CRM configurations turned on.
Workflow comparison — before & after
← Before
✓ After
1.A commercial sales representative walks a property and gathers scope details, photos, and contact information for a prospective replacement.
1.The representative taps CRM in the Field Mobile App and sees their open opportunities, filtered to the ones they own.
2.The representative records the details outside ServiceTitan, on paper or in a separate notes application.
2.The representative opens the opportunity for that property and edits the stage, ballpark value, estimated dates, and summary in place.
3.The representative waits until returning to a desk or laptop to open ST CRM in a browser.
3.The representative logs the site visit as an activity and uploads photos and documents to the opportunity.
4.The representative retypes the details onto the opportunity, updates the stage, logs the site visit, and uploads the photos.
4.The representative adds a follow-up task with an owner and a due date before leaving the site.
5.Any follow-up task is created after that entry is finished, which can be hours or days after the visit.
5.The representative reviews the contacts and existing quotes tied to the opportunity to confirm next steps with the decision maker.
⚠ Pipeline records fall behind the work, follow-ups slip, and details gathered on site are lost or entered inaccurately.
✓ Pipeline records stay current as of the visit, follow-ups are set while the detail is fresh, and office staff see the same information without waiting for a handoff.
How it works for your industry
Commercial Service and Replacement
A field account manager finishes a rooftop unit (RTU) walkthrough at a retail site, opens the opportunity in the Field Mobile App, raises the ballpark value to match the scope discussed, and moves the stage forward before leaving the parking lot.
A sales representative logs a call with a facilities director as a call activity with the outcome recorded, so the office sees the result without a separate message.
A technician uploads photos of a failing chiller to the opportunity so the estimator building the quote has the site conditions in hand the same afternoon.
Commercial Construction
A project developer meets a general contractor on site, creates a new opportunity with the customer, location, and estimated start and end dates, and assigns it to themselves in one pass.
A representative reviews the estimates already attached to an opportunity to confirm which revision the owner has seen before discussing pricing.
A representative adds a task to collect updated drawings, assigns it to a coordinator with a due date, and marks an earlier task complete from the same screen.
How to prepare
01
CRM is currently in Private Preview and not available for all accounts.
02
Confirm the sales team members who need this are set up to sign in to the Field Mobile App, and that they are on a current version of the app from the App Store or Google Play.
03
Tell your field and office teams that the Field Mobile App menu item labeled Opportunities is now labeled CRM, including at companies that are not using the CRM configurations, so nobody loses track of the follow-up screen they use today.
04
Identify which opportunities your team most often needs on the road, then have each representative set up and save the filter and sort combinations they will reuse as views.
05
Align your team on where pipeline work now happens, so activities, tasks, and attachments are recorded in CRM rather than in notes kept outside ServiceTitan.
