Using the Marketing Behavior Parameter in the Audience Builder: recommended workflowLast updated on 05/12/2023
There is a parameter in the Audience Builder functionality entitled Marketing Behavior. The purpose of this parameter is to narrow down the portion of your customer base whom you want to target based on their prior activity with one of your older campaigns.
Things to know
Make sure to utilize this parameter if you are cloning and re-launching an existing campaign to avoid redundancy with whom you are looking to target
Utilize this parameter if you are building and launching a campaign similar to one of your older campaigns to increase your performance metrics
Workflows
Step by Step Instructions
Go to the navigation bar and click the Marketing tab. In the side panel, click Audiences.
Click Create New.
Name the Audience.
In the audience building screen, click the Include button.
Click the Marketing Behavior category.
In the first dropdown, select the logic that you want to apply(Was Sent, Was Not Sent, Was Opened, etc.).
Click the second dropdown to select one of the existing campaigns that have been launched previously.
You may utilize the same logic for the Exclude list if you want to exclude a certain portion of your customer base who exhibited a certain type of behavior with one of your existing campaigns.
