Build a report for all payments entered: Recommended WorkflowLast updated on 02/02/2022

This article provides two recommended workflows for how to build a report to see all payments entered in an account: One for customers using Payment Collections and one for those NOT on Payment collections.


Things to know

  • Each recommended workflow WILL ONLY work for the noted account configuration. Understand which option is correct for your account before starting.

  • Customers on the Starter or Essentials will not be able to build a custom report using the report templates used in each recommended workflow so they will need to utilize a prebuilt report that shares the recommended template.


Workflows

Build custom report for all payments

Customers using Payment Collections

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.

  2. In the search bar at the top of the page, enter the words “All Payments” and click on the prebuilt report named “All Payments’. Alternatively customers on the Works Package can create a custom report and select the report template located in the Accounting report type called “All Payments

  3. Select the Payment Date range to which the report run should be confined. 

  4. Then select all three Payment Status options of “Pending”, “Posted” and “Exported”. 

  5. Leave all other setting fields blank and click Run Report to see the results of all payments entered within the time frame.

Customers NOT using Payment Collections

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.

  2. Click the dropdown second to the right of the search bar called “Templates” and select the option for “Applied Payments”. Select the report called “Deposit Detail”. Alternatively customers on the Works Package can create a custom report and select the report template located in the Accounting report type called “Applied Payments

  3. Change the Filter By at the top of the report to “Paid On”

  4. Select the date range to which the report run should be confined in the From-To filter to the right of the Filter By 

  5. Set the Business Unit filter to “All”

  6. Click Run Report to see the results of all payments entered within the time frame.
