Critical Error on Session Level: Recommended Workflow Last updated on 02/09/2022

The article will help you understand why you get the error “Critical Error on Session Level” when exporting from ServiceTitan to Intacct or Quickbooks.


Resolving Critical Error on Session Level Error

This is the workflow for handling Critical Error on Session Level errors.

  1. When receiving this error, check that the Web Connector is online.  

  2. If Web Connector is online, determine which Accounting Software is being used, either QuickBooks Desktop or Intacct. 

    1. Note* This can be determined by going to Settings > Type in “Quickbooks” to determine which QB software is being used of “Intacct” for Sage. Alternatively this information can be determined by clicking on the Accounting Tab. If there is no Flyout on the right of the screen then it is Quickbooks Online. If there is then it is either Quickbooks Desktop or Intacct. To ensure which, you can follow the previous steps in Settings.

  3. Depending on which Accounting Software is being used consult with the relevant outage status pages. 

    1. Quickbooks

    2. Intacct

  4. If Web Connector is online and QB or Intacct are not reporting an outage, please go through the escalation process so a Jira can be created by a Specialist.
