Worker’s Compensation Report GuideLast updated on 03/22/2022


Purpose of the Worker's Compensation Report:

This report provides a detailed list of technicians that have used worker’s compensation. This report includes all compensation codes.

Note: Access to this report requires account configuration. Please contact your support or success manager for details.


Common uses for this report:

  • Use this report to view invoice number, technician, job type, compensation code, standard rate, overtime rate, double overtime rate, standard hours, overtime hours, double time hours, and premium.


How to find this report:

Click Reports > Legacy Reports > Search [Worker's Compensation] > Click the report name. Then you will be able to set filters and run the report.


Report filters

Technician

Filter by technician. This report can be run by a single technician or all technicians

Date Range

Filter by date range. Use the From and To fields to set a custom date range.


View or download the report

Click Build to view the report.

The report can be downloaded in two different formats:

  • Export to Excel (*.xlsx) (click the dropdown arrow next to Build)

  • Export to Comma separated (*.csv) (click the dropdown arrow next to Build)


Explanation of report columns

The report includes the following columns:

Invoice

The invoice number of the job.

Date

Invoice date.

Technician

The technician the worker’s compensation was applied to

Job Type

The job type of the invoice.

Comp Code

The compensation code for the job type.

How to configure - Comp Code: Navigate to Settings > Job Types. Click Edit for the Job Type you wish to add a compensation code for.

Standard Rate

The standard compensation rate value associated with the compensation code

How to configure - Standard Rate: Navigate to Settings > Job Types. Click Edit for the Job Type you wish to add a standard rate for.

OT Rate

The overtime compensation rate value associated with the compensation code.

How to configure - OT Rate: Navigate to Settings > Job Types. Click Edit for the Job Type you wish to add overtime rate for.

DT Rate

The double overtime compensation rate value associated with the compensation code.

How to configure - DT Rate: Navigate to Settings > Job Types. Click Edit for the Job Type you wish to add double time rate for.

Standard Hours

The technician’s standard hours worked on the job.

Calculation - Standard Hours: [Drive Time] + [Arrive to Complete Time on the Job].

OT Hours

The technician’s overtime hours worked on the job.

Calculation - OT Hours:[Drive Time] + [Arrive to Complete Time on the Job].

DT Hours

Technician’s double time hours worked on the job.

Calculation - DT Hours:[Drive Time] + [Arrive to Complete Time on the Job].

Premium

Calculation - Premium:[Standard Rate * Standard Hours] + [OT Rate * OT Hours] + [DT Rate * DT Hours].


Explanation of report totals:

At the bottom of the report you will find totals for all invoices, within the report date range.

Calculation - Total: [Sum of column totals]
