Use GreenSky® Custom Rule Financing in ServiceTitanLast updated on 03/22/2022

Custom Rule Financing works in two ways: 1) you can set a single default rule or 2) create multiple custom rules by setting details, spend thresholds, and more. Once you’ve added those, you can edit and manage rules as your business needs change.

Things to know

Create a default and custom rules

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click the Settings icon. In the side panel, click Integrations > Financing.

  2. Click the GreenSky® Custom Financing tab if it's not already open.

  3. Add a default rule. If there's an existing rule, click the pencil icon to edit. Note: If you already had a GreenSky® account with a plan selected, we have automatically created the "Default Rule" according to your original selections.

  4. In Select Plans, select the checkbox for the plans you want your technicians to use with your customers. Select up to six.

  5. When done selecting, click Next.

  6. In Set tiers, you can select Default Tier or Custom Tiers depending on the type of default rule you want:

    1. Default Tier

      1. Go to the plan dropdown and select a plan to calculate the monthly price of an estimate for a customer.

    2. Custom Tiers

      1. For Tier 1, click + Assign Plan and select a plan.

You can assign multiple plans to a tier. There is no maximum. However, every tier needs to have at least one plan and every plan must appear in a tier.

Tip: When you assign multiple plans to the same tier, you need to select which plan should be used as the default to calculate the "as low as" amount on the mobile presentation screen.

      2. To create another tier, click + Add Tier

        1. Add a Spend Threshold to your next tier. Estimates and loan amounts must be greater than the spend threshold for loans in this tier. Note: When your technicians present good, better, best estimates, we use the highest tier for which the estimate qualifies to calculate the "as low as"amount.

  7. When done setting your rule(s), click Next.

  8. Review the details. If you need to edit your selections, click Edit.

  9. If you don't have edits and are done with your review, click Finish. You can view your default rule in the Financing > GreenSky® Custom Financing tab.

Edit a default rule

  1. In the GreenSky® Custom Financing tab, go to the Default Rule and hover over the header.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit. Note: To ensure that there is at least one financing plan available for your technicians to show customers, you can't delete default rules. If you want to hide financing entirely from a specific business unit, you can do that by going toGreenSky® Accounts. Tip: If you want to view the rule first to edit specific sections, click the eye icon.

  3. Edit as needed and complete the workflow, making sure to review your changes.

  4. When done, click Finish.

  3. To add, click + Custom Financing Rule.

  4. In Set Details, enter a name for your rule.

  5. Enter or select one or more business units to apply the rule to your selection(s).

Note: Business units can only be included one rule at a time. If you're not seeing a business unit appear in the dropdown, make sure it isn't being used by another custom rule.

  7. Select the plans you want to include. You can select up to six.

  8. When done selecting the plans, click Next.

Tip: Be sure to read the content to understand how these selections work together to calculate estimates. If you decide you want one tier for all your plans, select Default Tier instead.

  10. For Tier 1, click + Assign Plann and select a plan.

You can assign multiple plans to a tier. There is no maximum; however, every tier needs to have at least one plan and every plan must appear in a tier.
