Add images, PDFs, and video to your pricebookLast updated on 03/23/2022

Add multimedia to your pricebook to help build compelling estimates and invoices to present to customers. Images, PDFs, and video can help customers better understand the services being offered, which increases customer satisfaction. Also, images make it easier for technicians to navigate services in ServiceTitan Mobile.

Things to know

  • Technicians can show videos to customers, such as reviews for equipment, in the case that the customer needs help deciding which equipment suits them.

  • Pricebook item images appear on estimates and invoices.

  • Upload MP4 files or use YouTube and other web links to attach videos.

  • When viewing pricebook items, you can filter the list to show items that don’t have images or videos.

Add images and videos to categories and subcategories

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. In the side menu, click Categories. The Categories screen opens.

    Note: Click View in mobile to review how your entire pricebook appears in ServiceTitan Mobile. Tip: In the Services & Equipment section, click SHOW for more display options or expand a category to view its subcategories.

  3. Click the Services & Equipment category or subcategory that you want to add an image and/or video to.

  4. Click More Actions and select Edit Additional Details from the dropdown.

    The Edit screen opens.

  5. To add an image to this category or subcategory, click Upload in the Image section. Click Change to replace the image.

  6. In the Default Media for Subcategory Items section:

  • To add a default photo for all items in this category or subcategory, click Upload and select an image file from your computer.

  • To add a video for all items in this category or subcategory, enter the video link in Item Videos and click plus.

7. When you're done, click Save.

Add images, PDFs, and videos to pricebook items

Note: You can only add MP4 video files and PDFs to service and equipment items.

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. In the side menu, click Services, Equipment, or Materials, depending on the pricebook item you want to add media to. The appropriate screen opens.

    Note: Click Mobile View to preview how items appear in ServiceTitan Mobile. Tip: Collapse the Pricebook side menu for more screen area to view the item table.

  3. Browse the table or use the search field to find the item you want to add images and/or videos to. You can search by item code, name, or description. Tip: To filter the list of items, click Filters. You can filter based on category, sold hours, price, items with or without images, and other details. After setting your filters, click Apply.

  4. Switch the toggle to Edit Mode.

  5. In the media column, click the image icon for the item you want to add media to. The Edit Media screen opens. Note: If the media column isn’t visible, you can customize item table columns to show it in the table.

  6. To add an image, MP4 video, or PDF, click Upload file to upload it from your computer. Note: If an item has multiple images, set a default image to display wherever the item appears by hovering over the image and clicking Set As Default.

    Tip: Click the image for an enlarged view. To remove an image, hover over the image and click Delete image11, or delete it in the enlarged view.

  7. To add a video link, enter a URL under Videos and click +. The link displays below the field. You may have to scroll down to see it. Tip: To remove a video, click Delete image11 next to the link.

  8. When you’re done, click Save.
