Enable two-factor verification for the Azure Active Directory integration with ServiceTitanLast updated on 05/25/2023
Enabling two-factor verification for the Azure Active Directory integration with ServiceTitan ensures better protection for your account. After you enable two-factor verification, your account is much safer from security breaches because anyone attempting to access your account needs to know more than just your username and password to get into it.
Things to know
An Azure Active Directory account is required to use two-factor verification for Azure Active Directory integration with ServiceTitan. To learn about the different ways to get an account, see How to get Multi-Factor Authentication? (Microsoft Azure Documentation).
Personal Azure Active Directory accounts
If you have a back office account that is also on Azure Active Directory, and you want to test out how multi-factor authentication works, set up your personal Azure Active Directory account to try it:
Configure your Azure Active Directory account. For more, see Manage your two-factor verification method settings (Microsoft Azure Documentation).
Log into your Microsoft account.
After you log into your Microsoft account, you are presented with several different verification methods.
Select at least one verification option that you want to be able to use.
Log out of your Microsoft account and then log back in.
You should see the options you chose in the previous step.
Choose one of the options and make sure that it works.
Two-factor verification is now enabled and can be used to authenticate to the ServiceTitan application. Contact Technical Support to start or complete the Azure Active Directory integration process with ServiceTitan.
Administrators managing Azure Active Directory
If you’re an administrator overseeing other users and managing Azure Active Directory, see the complete list of instructions, as well as settings information available at Configure Azure Multi-Factor Authentication settings (Microsoft Azure Documentation). Select and enable the options most appropriate for your organization.
Once the appropriate multi-factor authentication policies are in place, contact Technical Support to start or complete the Azure Active Directory integration process with ServiceTitan.
